All desoldering stations are versatile due to their automatic tool recognition. All Weller soldering and desoldering devices, up to 80W power, can be connected to the stations. They are all equipped with vacuum to absorb solder, most of them additionally with a hot air function for the soldering and desoldering of mainly SMD components. The desoldering irons can be equipped with various nozzles, as well as special desoldering heads.
The vacuum is activated by a finger switch and the solder is collected in integrated collecting box. When using SMD desoldering heads, the component is lifted with the integrated vacuum. The hot air iron (HAP) is used for soldering with paste or for desoldering. In this case, smaller components can be evenly heated with the standard nozzle; however, larger devices can be desoldered with a suitable nozzle.
