We offer application-oriented training courses and seminars based on the requirements of the ESD standards DIN EN IEC 61340-5-1 (VDE0300-5-1). Individual operational requirements and customer-oriented, theoretical and practical topics can be integrated through a flexible and modular course structure. The training content is conveyed in theoretical form and practical examples in an application-oriented manner.

Half-day training
The ESD basic training course provides participants with the necessary basics and knowledge for ESD safety in production and assembly. All employees in these areas require basic ESD training. No previous knowledge is required. Practical examples are used to demonstrate how electrostatic charges are generated and the effect of suitable ESD protection measures. Company-specific requirements can be taken into account in the training content.
Each participant receives detailed training documentation and a certificate of attendance.
We also offer 1.5-hour refresher courses for employees who have already received training.

ESD Specialist Seminar

The ESD specialist knows the interrelationships in the field of electrostatics and how ESD protective measures work. They support the ESD coordinator. This training provides the knowledge required to independently carry out, evaluate and document measurements for the verification of ESD control elements in accordance with the ESD control program plan.

ESD Coordinator Seminar

An ESD control program set up in accordance with the DIN EN IEC 61340-5-1 standard requires the appointment of an ESD coordinator who is responsible for implementing the requirements of the standard. We offer regular seminars for ESD coordinators.

Customized ESD services
As part of our EPAconsult® overall program, we offer you competent advice according to your individual requirements, such as an inventory of the existing ESD protection and needs assessment as well as the development of an ESD protection concept with concrete proposals.
Regular verification measurements are required to prove the effectiveness of ESD protection measures. These include measurements of the discharge resistances of ESD floors, work tables and storage surfaces, ESD chairs, shelves and transport trolleys, to name just a few examples. The function of the ionizers is checked as well as all components used as ESD protection.
We offer you the opportunity to carry out and record these measurements for you using our equipment.
On request, we can prepare a test report that evaluates the ESD protection measures in context.
The ESD protection measures introduced serve to reduce the risk of failure, i.e. to ensure quality. These measures are usually integrated into the quality management system. An ESD control program with an ESD control program plan is required as proof. This documentation is required in order to be audited in accordance with the ESD standard IEC DIN EN 61340. It is also often required for customer audits.
We support you in the preparation of this comprehensive documentation, which is required for an auditable ESD protection concept.
The function of the ESD control program introduced in your company is confirmed by an independent audit. Document checks, plausibility and random sample measurements are naturally part of the audit. You will receive a detailed audit report and a certificate.
The ESD measuring devices required to measure the control elements must be calibrated regularly. We offer you this service. The devices are calibrated internally by DPV or by an external provider. We are also at your disposal for support requests and repairs.
