Weller® soldering technology – pioneer of manual soldering
In 1941, the ingenious American radio electrician Carl E. Weller first developed a soldering technology with immediate heating based on transformers and was soon able to take off with his company Weller Manufacturing Company. The company's overseas expansion began as early as 1959 with the Weller Elektro-Werkzeuge GmbH plant in Besigheim. In order to keep pace with the ever more complex requirements, Weller Germany soon became the world market leader in the development and production of hand soldering tools.

With more than 400 different Weller products, we at DPV supplement our extensive range of soldering technology and offer innovative and reliable tools for all areas of electronics production.
