Turnstiles

Gotschlich turnstiles are used in electrostatically protected areas (EPA) for controlled access release. In conjunction with our EPApro^®ESD personnel grounding control system, they enable standard-compliant testing of personnel earthing in accordance with IEC 61340-5-1 before access is granted.

This ensures that only people who are properly grounded can enter the EPA. This prevents the unintentional introduction of electrostatic charge, which could lead to harmful discharges on sensitive electronic components. Integration into the access concept therefore makes a significant contribution to process safety and compliance with ESD protection requirements. Upon request, we can also install the turnstiles for you.
