2026 Tiefental Cup: Team Spirit, Excitement, Runner-up
An evening filled with team spirit and a strong result: Our annual soccer tournament was once again a resounding success. It became clear once more what sets our team apart: total dedication, good spirits, and plenty of camaraderie.
Just like last year, we secured a strong second-place finish. But this time, it was especially thrilling: Everything was up in the air right up until the last minute, and the tournament title was within reach. We fought hard, defended well, cheered each other on, and held our breath until the final whistle. In the end, we fell just short of the title – the final could hardly have been more exciting.

New faces and old friends
The mix of new team members and colleagues who had already played for us on the field last year was particularly great. Our new colleagues were right in the thick of things from the very first minute, gave it their all, and played a key role in this strong result.
At the same time, we could once again count on our experienced players. With their experience, dedication, and strong team spirit, these familiar faces ensured that the team gelled well right from the start. The result was a team in which fresh energy and well-established teamwork complemented each other perfectly.
It was precisely this mix that demonstrated just how quickly new and long-time colleagues can come together to form a true team, both on and off the field.

More than just a ranking
Even though we narrowly missed out on a major victory, there’s every reason to be proud. After all, the Tiefental Cup stands for much more than just athletic results. It shows what happens when people work together toward a common goal, support one another, and stick together as a team.
This sense of unity was palpable throughout the entire tournament, both on and off the field. Our fans created a fantastic atmosphere, cheering the team on loudly and turning every goal and every successful play into a shared sense of accomplishment.
Special thanks also go to our management team, who provided the refreshments. Thanks to them, nothing was missing off the field either, and we were able to wrap up the tournament evening together in a relaxed atmosphere. We’d like to thank all the players, fans, supporters, and organizers who made this evening possible.

After the 2026 cup is before the 2027 cup
Finishing in second place twice in a row is definitely something to be proud of. Next year, we'll be back in the running, and maybe on our third try, we'll even take first place.
