Legend to the table

a
For product qualification, the environmental conditions for the test should be (12 ± 3) % relative humidity and (23 ± 2) °C. Unless specified in the referenced IEC standards, the minimum ambient temperature conditioning time for product qualification should be 48 h.
b
The test methods in the compliance verification column refer only to the basic test method. The test methods are not expected to be fully followed
c
Symbols used in this table: Rp-p refers to point-to-point resistance, Rg corresponds to resistance to ground and Rgp refers to resistance to groundable point.
d
The maximum admissible test voltage for the measurement of ESD floor coverings to be used for an ESD program that complies with this standard is 100 V.
e
If a flooring is used to ground the personnel handling ESDS, reference is made to the system requirements in table 2.
f
In situations where damage from the Charged Device Model (CDM) must be considered, a lower threshold of the point-to-point resistance Rp-p of 1 x 104 Ω is recommended.
g
Working surfaces are defined as any surface on which an ESD-sensitive element is placed.
