35 years DPV – let's celebrate!

The Founding

Some companies are launched with major investments and sophisticated structures – others start small, with an idea, a lot of passion, and the courage to just get started.

This is how the story of DPV Elektronik-Service GmbH began:
In 1991, the company was founded in a small basement room with an adjoining storage area, with a focus on the manufacture and distribution of production equipment for the electronics industry.

As our experience grew and demand increased, it quickly became clear: The idea is taking off – and needs room to grow further.

The Headquarter

The next steps were not long in coming:
First came the move to a four-bedroom apartment, and then, in 1997, the foundation stone was laid for further growth with the construction of the new building on Herrengrundstraße. The move-in followed a year later.

The acquisition of Compumet AG

As the company expanded beyond its borders, a new chapter began: In 2006, as part of its international expansion,
Compumet AG in Rheinfelden, Switzerland, was acquired.

Since then, the subsidiary has been systematically expanding its international presence and ensuring reliable support for customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein – with a strong market focus, rapid implementation, and high standards of quality..

The Tiefental Logistics Center

With a product range that now exceeds 25,000 items, the next step was a logical one: a logistics system that meets our own standards for performance and reliability.

What began as an expansion of the product range soon placed new demands on back-end operations. In 2017, a modern logistics center was established in Eppingen-Tiefental, designed to create structures that can scale with the business, streamline processes, and optimize workflows.
