DRY-SHIELD-JEDEC Protective bags

The DRY-SHIELD-JEDEC protective bags are non-transparent, moisture-impermeable, metallized barrier bags with aluminium vapour deposition. They offer excellent protection against moisture and electrostatic charge thanks to a special multilayer of nylon, aluminum and polyethylene. The bags have the following common properties:

• Heat-sealable
• useable for vacuum packaging
• Shielding bag with protection against moisture
• Complies with JEDEC-STD-033 C
• Electrostatic shielding < 10 nJ (Energy Test) 
• EMI shielding > 40 db
• Defined water vapor permeablity due to a multilayer made of a nylon, polyethylene and aluminium 
• Standard imprint: ESD symbol, humidity symbol, type designation, recycling symbol, lot number.
• In compliance with JEDEC-STD-033 C 
• In compliance with ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1

Note: The complete “dry package” concept for the packaging of electronics comprises three essential components: protective bags with a moisture barrier to protect the components from external moisture, desiccants to absorb residual moisture inside the packaging and moisture indicators to monitor the effectiveness of the moisture protection.
