Polyurethane resin potting compound UR5097 4.4 kg

The polyurethane resin encapsulant UR5097 from Electrolube is a high-quality, two-component solution specifically designed for encapsulating and sealing electronic components. With a total weight of 4.4 kg, this product offers excellent resistance to mechanical and chemical stresses, including oils, greases, and solvents.
The mixture is characterized by its black color and a viscosity of 6000 mPa s at 23°C. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring high thermal conductivity (0.65 W/m.K) and good heat dissipation. The encapsulant is flame retardant and meets UL94 V-0 certification, making it ideal for areas where flame retardancy is required.
The density in the cured state is 1.49 g/ml, and the product demonstrates excellent durability and stability over a temperature range from -40 to +110°C. The maximum short-term temperature tolerance is +130°C. With a pot life of 20 minutes and a curing time of 24 hours at 23°C (or 4 hours at 60°C), UR5097 allows for efficient processing.
In addition to its robust physical properties, UR5097 also offers excellent electrical properties and is RoHS compliant. The product's shelf life is 12 months from the manufacturing date. It should be noted that the hardener is available separately and should be ordered in the same quantity as the encapsulant.

Polyurethane potting compounds

Polyurethane resin potting compounds are specialized synthetic resins that have been developed on a polyurethane basis and are primarily used for potting and sealing components. They consist of two main components: the polyurethane resin and a hardener, which are mixed together to initiate a chemical reaction that results in a solid and resilient compound.

These potting compounds are characterized by high flexibility and excellent resistance to mechanical stress. They also offer excellent resistance to chemical influences such as oils, greases and solvents.

Polyurethane resin casting compounds have excellent insulating properties and retain their stability over a wide temperature range. Their adhesion to various substrates is also generally very good.
