Dessicants

Desiccants are used for the controlled reduction of relative humidity within moisture-sensitive packaging units. They prevent the absorption of moisture by hygroscopic materials and thus minimize the risk of popcorning and corrosion-related failures. With the configurator, the optimum quantity of desiccant for the respective size of the shipping packaging can be calculated easily, at any time and precisely.

In combination with DRY-SHIELD bags, moisture indicators and desiccants form a closed dry packaging system to ensure optimum humidity during transportation and storage.
