The SAFESHIELD shipping box in the size 420x220x40 mm offers excellent electrostatic shielding (typical value) of less than 1 nJ, making it ideal for transporting sensitive electronic components. This box meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and is equipped with a standardized ESD warning print, type designation, and a recycling symbol. The color of the box is a striking blue.
The internal dimensions of the box are 420 mm in length, 220 mm in width, and 40 mm in height. The typical surface resistance is between 10^9 and 10^10 Ohm, ensuring safety in handling electrostatically sensitive products. The box itself is delivered without foam inserts, which are available separately. The FEFCO code 0427 identifies the specific design of the box.

SAFESHIELD Shipping boxes

SAFESHIELD shipping boxes offer a high level of electrostatic shielding against electrostatic discharges and fields and are ideal for both internal and external transportation of sensitive electronic components. They are available either without foam or with PE plug-in foam/6mm or with profile foam/20mm. The shipping boxes have the following common features:

  • reusable

  • Inner and outer cover permanently dissipative and abrasion-resistant
  • typical surface resistance inner/outer cover RS = 109 - 1010 Ω
  • High shielding properties due to conductive inner layer
  • Electrostatic shielding < 1 nJ (EnergyTest)
