CARBOSTAT air bubble film 400 mm x 100 m 0.16 mm

The CARBOSTAT bubble wrap is a high-quality, three-layer copolymer film that is distinguished by its electrostatic volume conductivity and meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. With a width of 400 mm and a roll length of 100 m, it offers a total area of 40 m² per roll. The film has a thickness of 0.16 mm and is characterized by a bubble height of 4 mm and a bubble diameter of 10 mm. Its black color is unprinted, making it ideal for versatile applications in ESD-sensitive environments.
The bubble wrap is both sealable and recyclable, but not resealable. It has a surface and volume resistance of 10^4 Ω, which underscores its reliable conductivity. With proper storage, the durability of the film is unlimited, making it a long-lasting choice for technical applications.

 

Note on ESD measurement:

To obtain a reliable measurement result, the resistance measurement should be performed without trapped air. Without air cushioning, the necessary contact area of the electrodes on the material is provided, which delivers a precise measurement result. Measurements with an air gap can lead to deviating values.
