CARBOSTAT tubular film 250 mm x 500 m

The CARBOSTAT tubing film, with a width of 250 mm and a roll length of 500 meters, is made from a permanently volume-conductive copolymer material that is electrically conductive. The film is ideal for the secure packaging of electronic components to protect them from electrostatic discharge and prevent damage during transport or storage. With a thickness of 0.08 mm and black color, it offers an efficient solution that can easily adapt to different product sizes.
The film is sealable but not resealable, and supports recycling processes. It meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-3 as well as the requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1 and IEC. The surface and volume resistance are each below 1 x 10^4 Ω, confirming its high conductivity. This makes it a reliable choice for technical applications where electrostatic discharges pose a critical risk.

CARBOSTAT® Tubular film

CARBOSTAT tubular films made of permanently volume conductive copolymer material are antistatic films used to protect electronic components from electrostatic discharge. These films offer a safe packaging solution to prevent damage to sensitive components during transportation and storage. They are flexible and easily adaptable to different product sizes. The tubular films have the following common properties:

  • heat-sealable
  • permanent volume conductive copolymer material
  • surface resistance Rs < 1 x 104 Ω
  • volume resistance Rv < 1 x 104 Ω
  • black
  • recyclable
  • Standard imprint: type designation, ESD warning symbol, recycle symbol and LOT no.
  • in compliance with ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-3
