The 2-tier cart from Fetra, with a load area of 600 x 600 mm, is specifically designed for use in ESD-sensitive areas of the electronics industry. This sturdy and easily maneuverable transport cart is characterized by its electrostatically conductive construction made of welded steel tubing and profile steel, which is powder-coated in slate grey RAL 7015. The two steel sheet platforms, flush-welded into the frame, are also conductively coated, ensuring durability and stability.
The load capacity of the cart is 500 kg, with dimensions of 609 mm in width, 867 mm in height, and 737 mm in depth. The shelf height varies between 228 and 860 mm. Equipped with two steering and two fixed casters with TPE-ESD tires and precision groove ball bearings, the cart offers extremely low starting, rolling, and swiveling resistance, leading to a noiseless and trackless run on flat floors.
Safety is enhanced by locks on the steering casters, ensuring stable positioning. With a surface resistance of Rs 10^5 - 10^7 Ω and the optional TOTALSTOP central brake from Fetra, available at an additional cost, which allows for secure locking of the swivel movement, this cart meets all requirements for safe and efficient handling of sensitive components in electronics manufacturing.
