The ESD device caster wheel from series 550 with a diameter of 75 mm and a wheel width of 23 mm provides an optimal solution for use in ESD-sensitive environments. The wheel is composed of a polypropylene wheel body and an electrically conductive rubber tread, certified according to the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. The load capacity of the caster is 50 kg, while the lightweight, pressed steel sheet housing ensures stability and is enhanced by a double ball bearing in the fork head.
The caster features a practical double stop/brake and a back hole with a diameter of 10.2 mm, which allows for easy installation. The Shore hardness of approximately 85 Shore A and the potential contact discoloration of the floor due to plasticizer diffusion are important aspects to consider when used in certain environments.
