Magnifiers

Magnifiers are used in electronics production for the precise inspection of components and PCBs. They enable detailed, eye-friendly inspection of solder joints, SMD components and conductor tracks that are difficult to see with the naked eye.

There are various magnifier models that are tailored to specific requirements: They offer different magnification factors to enable precise inspection of even the smallest components.

For longer inspection times and more comfort at work, magnifiers are available with eyeglass/head mounts or stands that allow hands-free inspection.

In addition, many magnifiers are equipped with lighting that ensures uniform and focused illumination of the areas to be inspected in order to avoid shadows and reflections.

The digital handheld magnifier Cam BETA (Cam β) is a special feature. It enables dimensioning and simple measuring using a calibrated grid or virtual measuring lines. The caliper is used to measure distances between parallel lines on the X and Y axes. It can be connected to an HDMI monitor for live display of the image. The handheld magnifier can also store up to 20,000 images in its internal memory so that they can be downloaded to a PC later if required.
