The ESD side cutter 5140 from ideal-tek is a high-precision cutting tool specifically designed for use in electrostatically sensitive environments. This model from the series of small oval cutters is characterized by its robust, semi-flat cutting edge, which allows precise cuts in small and hard-to-reach areas.
The compact head size of the cutter, with a width of 10 mm and a length of 9 mm, facilitates access to tight spots, while the overall length of 125 mm and the weight of 82 g ensure easy handling. The blades, hardened to a hardness of 67 HRC, guarantee durability and exceptional cutting performance.
The ergonomically designed ESD Ergo-Tek handle made of PP/TPE provides a secure grip and is ideal for working with electrostatically endangered components. The side cutter can cut soft material up to a diameter of 1.15 mm, medium material up to 1.02 mm, and hard material up to 0.6 mm. The sandblasted surface and the Mini-Wate head shape complement the high-quality workmanship of the tool.
