Stand-alone or PC-based system

Choose Makrolite 4K either as a stand-alone system operated via a console or as a PC system with software camera control and commentary/measurement function.

Option 1: console control

The console version provides a direct HDMI connection to the monitor for live viewing with full control over the zoom range and all camera settings.

Camera controls include:

• magnification range 3x to 330x, zoom ratio 20:1
• autofocus and manual focus
• aperture, exposure (AE, AP and ME modes)
• gain, white balance, image mirroring

Option 2: PC control

The Makrolite 4K PC version, combined with our software options, adds image capture, annotation, on-screen measurement, data/image report generation and a range of image processing tools.

Our software options include but are not limited to:

• control of camera settings
• image capture in JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIFF formats
• annotation, including markers and ratios
• measurement tools such as distance, angle, diameter, area
• import CAD files for inspection
• image processing such as color inversion, shape detection, focus stacking, overlays
• creation of reports in Excel and other formats 

Data transfer

Share 4K images, videos or reports easily and instantly over networks with colleagues, suppliers, customers and authorities. The option to save images and videos to a USB drive is available in both PC and console configurations.

4K resolution

The resolution of the Makrolite 4K is 4x higher than Full HD and offers exceptional image quality. A clearer view of the object shows even the finest details, improves productivity and accuracy, reduces waste and customer problems due to poor sample quality.

High dynamic range

The high dynamic range of Makrolite 4K is perfect for imaging bright and shaded areas. It is particularly suitable for reflective objects such as electropolished surfaces and solder joints, as well as objects with high contrast, even at higher magnification.

Ergo stand (EVB010)

The Ergo stand is characterized by its small footprint and high stability, making it particularly suitable for applications with high magnification. A sliding table is optionally available, which enables precise and even adjustment of the components.

Table stand (S-240)

The table stand offers a compact design with high stability and a small footprint. It has an integrated light control for incident and transmitted light illumination.

Column stand (S-206)

The column stand is ideal for larger components. It has a stable base plate and can be mounted either with a plinth or directly on the work surface. The design allows great freedom of movement.

Double-arm column stand (S-241)

The double-arm column stand is designed for applications that require a greater range without compromising stability. The simple adjustment enables precise positioning and alignment. It is available with either a base plate or clamp for direct mounting on the work surface.

Multi-axis stand (EVB021)

The multi-axis stand impresses with its precise and robust mechanics. It is particularly suitable for applications where a maximum working distance is required. Quick and effortless adjustment is possible in all axes. The extended reach is up to 439 mm.
