Diagonal cutting pliers Z 40 4 115 04 ESD

The side cutter Z 40 4 115 04 from Wiha is distinguished by its precise workmanship and robust construction, making it the ideal tool for professional use in electronics. This model features a narrow and pointed head with a head width of only 9.5 mm and a head thickness of 6 mm, allowing for precise work even in hard-to-reach areas. The flat-ground blades with a small bevel enable a clean and flush cut.
The length of the side cutter is 115 mm and it weighs a light 65 g, which supports fatigue-free working over extended periods. The jaw length of 10.5 mm along with a cutting force of 2 kg makes it universally applicable for hard and soft steel wires as well as copper wire and cables.
The pliers are ESD-safe and meet the standards according to IEC 61340-5-1, qualifying them for use at ESD workstations. The surface resistance is between 10^6 and 10^9 Ohm. Additionally, the side cutter offers ergonomic benefits through an extra wide grip back with perfectly distributed hard and soft zones in the handle.
The blades of the side cutter are individually tempered and additionally inductively hardened to about 64 HRC, which increases the durability and robustness of the tool. The appealing design with a finely polished head and the high-quality workmanship underline the quality of this tool from Wiha.
