Diagonal cutting pliers ISO 1000V 125 mm

The KNIPEX diagonal cutter ISO 1000V 125 mm is a VDE-tested, versatile diagonal cutter, specifically designed for use in hard-to-reach work areas. The slim head shape and precise cutting edges enable a clean cut in thin copper wires as well as in soft and hard wire up to a diameter of 3.0 mm or 1.5 mm respectively.
The cutting edges of this high-quality tool are additionally induction-hardened, achieving a blade hardness of about 62 HRC, which ensures a long service life and lasting performance. Made of chrome-vanadium steel with a chrome-plated surface, this diagonal cutter not only offers high resistance but also a large bevel for efficient working.
Despite its robust construction and technical sophistication, the diagonal cutter is not ESD-safe and thus less suitable for certain electronic applications. Its length of 125 mm makes it a handy and indispensable tool for various applications.

They have long been appreciated by many tradesmen - the insulated Knipex diagonal cutting pliers are a classic in the Knipex range.

From the shape of the head to the grinding and hardness of the cutting edges, they are tailor-made for the wide range of cutting tasks in the everyday work of electricians, mechatronics engineers and electronics technicians. The diagonal cutting pliers are insulated in accordance with the insulation standard IEC 60900 DIN EN 60900 using multi-component handles.

Its long cutting edges also make it ideal for cutting cables. The particularly carefully and precisely machined edges of the cutting edges make exact cuts possible even with very fine stranded wires - right up to the cutting tips. This is a great advantage, especially in confined spaces, for example when cutting fine stranded wires to length in junction boxes or distribution boxes.

Robust and durable

Knipex forges the Knipex diagonal cutting pliers from vanadium electric steel and gives them high strength by heating them and then quenching them in oil. For a permanently precise cut, Knipex also uses high-frequency current to harden the cutting edges to a hardness of approx. 62 HRC.

The chrome plating provides effective rust protection, which pays off when used outdoors, for example. Thanks to the chrome plating, these diagonal cutting pliers are particularly easy to clean.
