JBC KN-B Nitrogen measurement and control system

The JBC KN-B Nitrogen Measurement and Control System, developed by JBC, optimizes the quality of solder joints by effectively preventing oxidation at the solder tips. This is achieved through the automatic supply of nitrogen, which provides additional heat and thus enhances the quality of each solder connection. The system automatically activates the nitrogen flow when the T245N nitrogen handle is used and stops it as soon as the handle is put back and the solder tip reaches its resting temperature.
A GN nitrogen generator or an existing nitrogen supply at the workplace is required for operation. The system is compatible with the DI control unit, as well as the discontinued DD or DM control units. It offers nitrogen flow control from 0.5 - 3 SLPM with a recommended flow of 1-2 SLPM and maintains a maximum pressure of 6 bar. The supply pressure should be between 3-5 bar.
The device is also ESD-safe and meets the standards of ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021. With a power of 3 W and a voltage of 24 V, this system represents a reliable and efficient solution for quality improvement in soldering processes.
