The solder wire ISO-Core® ELR S-Sn60Pb40 by Felder is specifically designed for precision soldering in electronics, electrical engineering, telecommunications, and electric motor construction. This product is characterized by its Sn60Pb40 composition and a melting point between 183°C and 190°C, ensuring high reliability in both hand and machine soldering.The solder wire has a diameter of 0.75 mm and is supplied on 500 g reels. The alloy components meet international standards and guarantee the highest purity, similar to Felder's ISO-Tin® electronic solders.
A key feature of this product is the halogen-free, no-clean flux according to DIN EN 29454.1, 1.1.3.B, 1.2.3.B, and 2.2.3.B or DIN EN 61190-1-3, which is specially adapted for rework on SMD-equipped assemblies. The standard flux content is 1%, which facilitates use in sensitive electronic environments and minimizes the need for cleaning after soldering.
