The replacement tip A7CP from ideal-tek is specifically designed for use in areas where precision and protection of sensitive components such as glass and ceramic substrates are essential. These replacement tips, made in Switzerland, offer optimal visibility and handling due to their angled shape and very fine, beveled tip. The set includes two carbon fiber tips and three screws, suitable for type 7CP tweezers.The tips are made of an ESD-PEEK plastic that not only ensures excellent heat resistance up to 190°C (temporarily) but is also electrostatically dissipative (surface resistance 102 Ω). The material, polyamide 66 reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, offers high mechanical strength, very high stiffness, and excellent wear and abrasion resistance. Additionally, the material is heat stabilized and chemically resistant to oils, fats, and most nonpolar solvents.
Despite their robustness, the tips weigh only 1 g and are dimensioned with a length of 40 mm and a width of 15 mm, with the tip itself being only 0.5 mm wide and thick. Note that the tips are not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam.
