Electric field meters enable the non-contact measurement of the strength and direction of electric fields and are used to monitor electrostatic conditions. They are used in electrostatically protected areas (EPA), in laboratory environments and in industrial production to detect unwanted charges or discharges at an early stage and to ensure compliance with electrostatic limit values in accordance with relevant standards.
Additional components are available for further tests, such as the Air Ionizer accessory set consisting of an attachable plate electrode and a charger. It is used to assess the ionization efficiency and enables a differentiated analysis of the electrostatic environment.
