Renovate ESD floors — or create new ones
The floor coating system restores the conductivity of worn ESD floors. And it transforms an existing, non-conductive floor into a standard-compliant ESD surface — without removing the existing floor.
Two applications
Renovation and new installation with a single system
Most suppliers only demonstrate the renovation option. The ESD floor system can do both: restore an existing ESD floor to compliance with standards and convert a previously non-conductive floor into an EPA-compliant surface.
Existing ESD flooring no longer meets the standard
Protective coatings, wear and tear, soiling, and mechanical and chemical damage weaken or prevent the ESD flooring from functioning properly.
In this case, the floor is thoroughly cleaned and resealed in several stages — the values then return to within the standard range. The floor surface is visually restored and protected.

- Simple and time-saving floor repair and renovation
- Cost-effective alternative to laying a new floor
- No removal of existing flooring, no need to clear the hall
Existing floor is converted into an ESD floor
If a new electronics production area is being created or the existing one is being expanded, there is no need to remove the existing floor.
Using a step-by-step specialist coating process and grounding connection, the existing surface is converted into an ESD surface — including certification.

- Cost-effective creation of new ESD zones

What the coating achieves
The conductive ‘on-top’ sealant forms a durable, easy-to-clean wear layer on top of the existing floor. It ensures maximum ESD safety, high slip resistance and extreme durability without the need to replace the floor. The floor is fully functional within a very short time.
Before
- No conductivity or reduced conductivity
- Non-compliance with standards
- Surfaces damaged by chemicals and mechanical stress
- Visible signs of wear and tear
- No or low slip resistance
- Joints requiring intensive cleaning
- High cleaning costs

After
- Conductivity in accordance with ESD standards
- Protection against mechanical and chemical impacts
- Sealed, joint-free surface
- High slip resistance (class R9–R11)
- Reduced cleaning and maintenance costs
- Hygienic, durable and easy to maintain
We guide you step by step towards a high-quality, fully functional ESD floor:
1. Floor inspection
Assessment of the current condition of the flooring, including resistance measurement.
2. Concept
Discussion of the procedure, selection of colour, scheduling
3. Preparation
Thorough cleaning, removal of old maintenance films, preparation of joints and edge areas.
4. Coating
Application of the layers (primer, preparation (Color Base), colour, optional chips, system build-up (Base Coat), sealant)
5. Acceptance testing
Verification measurement and a documented test report as evidence for your ESD control programme.
In sensitive production, laboratory and logistics areas, floors are exposed to high levels of mechanical, chemical and electrostatic stress on a daily basis. The special conductive coating provides lasting protection against abrasion, damage and soiling – whilst also ensuring a hygienic, easy-to-clean surface.
ESD safety. Slip resistance. Durability.
The system reliably restores electrical conductivity and meets the requirements of IEC 61340-5-1:2016.
Depending on the application, slip resistance classes from R9 to R11 are available, ensuring maximum safety in day-to-day work.

Design freedom that thinks ahead
Technical functionality meets creative freedom.
Whether transparent or coloured, with chips, customised gloss levels or clear markings. Your floor adapts to your requirements. Safety and route markings are sealed directly into the surface and remain permanently ESD-safe and abrasion-resistant.

Renovate without downtime
Why accept days, or even weeks, of downtime?
Compared to a complete floor replacement, renovation takes just a few days – often even just a few hours. For particularly tight timeframes, the optional UV technology allows the floor to be walked on extremely quickly.
