Tyvek® – high-quality cleanroom clothing
Tyvek® for PPE

What properties does Tyvek®offer?
- Water-repellent – Processing Tyvek® fibers under high pressure and intense heat creates a thermoplastic, high-density material in a semi-solid state that reliably prevents liquids from penetrating the surface.
- Breathable – Since Tyvek® is manufactured without additional binders, fine pores are created that make the material vapor-permeable. This allows water vapor to escape while water and other liquids are retained – for optimal breathability.
- Protective barrier – Tyvek®'s continuous filament offers natural resistance to the penetration of microorganisms and pollutants. Hazardous particles such as asbestos, mold spores, glass fibers, or lead cannot pass through the material.
- High tear resistancet – Tyvek® consists of randomly arranged, highly compressed fibers that provide exceptional tear and puncture resistance. The result is a durable, long-lasting protective material for demanding applications.
- Recyclability – For numerous applications, Tyvek not only offers unique performance advantages, but is also 100% recyclable, giving Tyvek® products a second life as park benches or playground equipment.
