Eco Best Technology ®

SHOWA's revolutionary Eco Best Technology® (EBT) protects the environment without compromising on protection and performance. Thanks to their special composition, EBT gloves decompose within 1 to 5 years in active landfills (as proven by ASTM D5511 and D5526 test results). For non-EBT products, this process takes over 100 years. EBT only biodegrades in biologically active landfills. This means that the biodegradation of protective gloves made from EBT material cannot begin before disposal.

Low-modulus formula

Modulus refers to the force required for an object to change its shape. For gloves, the significance of the low-modulus formula is that the material of low-modulus gloves relaxes after a few minutes of wear and takes on the shape of the hand. SHOWA gloves are designed so that after 6 minutes they exert little or no pressure. They are referred to as low modulus because only a small amount of force is required to change their shape and adapt to the hand. The gloves are comfortable and reduce fatigue. 

Nitrile disposable gloves

The water-repellent nitrile gloves are ideal for single use in a wide range of applications. Thanks to their low-modulus formula, they fit snugly on the hand and enable precise work. The textured fingertips also ensure a secure grip, even on damp or slippery surfaces. The disposable gloves are made of a latex-free material and are therefore also suitable for people with allergies. They are powder-free and do not require a backing fabric, which further reduces the risk of skin irritation.

The versatile, biodegradable 6110PF disposable gloves are extremely suitable and water-impermeable, while offering the best comfort during long periods of wear. They are ideal for use in laboratories and for general repair and maintenance work.

Nitrile disposable gloves 6112PF 

The versatile, biodegradable disposable gloves 6112PF prioritize sensitivity and dexterity. The 0.10 mm thick nitrile is also waterproof and offers extreme comfort during prolonged wear. The disposable gloves are ideal for use in laboratories and for general repair and maintenance work.

The gloves 6112PF are completely environmentally friendly thanks to the use of Eco Best Technology® and degrade by up to 82% in just 386 days in laboratory tests.

Nitrile disposable gloves 7500PF 

The disposable glove 7500PF was developed using Eco Best Technology® and is biodegradable. In laboratory tests, it achieved 82% biodegradability in 386 days. A rolled cuff prevents dirt from entering, and the powder- and latex-free design reduces the risk of allergies. The textured grip surface makes working in wet conditions easier and safer.

Nitrile disposable gloves 7585PF 

This 0.20 mm thick, 290 mm long disposable glove made of 100% nitrile is designed to reduce irritation and risks and provide improved protection for hands and forearms against chemicals. Chlorination of the glove improves comfort and eliminates stickiness. The 7585PF is free of latex, powder, and silicone to prevent allergic reactions and skin irritation.
