U-POWER shoes combine state-of-the-art technologies for maximum comfort and ESD protection in everyday working life. The ultra-light Airtoe® toe cap, combined with the Stressout® system, ensures lightness and an ergonomic and anatomical fit that provides a comfortable feeling of well-being. The Infinergy midsole guarantees maximum comfort and responsiveness for your feet by absorbing energy and returning positive energy. Dry feet are ensured by Wingtex® technology with breathable air channels. U-Green technologies achieve climate neutrality without compromising on comfort.

The Save & Flex Plus penetration protection is completely metal-free and offers 100% protection of the foot surface. A firm and resistant surface is ensured by particularly robust upper materials. Wingtex® technology                

The revolutionary inner lining with ventilation channels ensures very high breathability. The specially developed microfiber keeps the foot dry and comfortable. 

Stressout® system 

An innovative tongue ensures comfortable walking and prevents pressure on the instep. Two different layers of padding are incorporated into the tongue and guarantee a pleasant feeling of comfort on the foot thanks to the innovative anatomical arrangement.

INFINERGY® 

Research and innovation are the driving force behind U-POWER's development of high-performance products. Infinergy® from BASF was used for the Red Lion series. BASF has succeeded in combining closed-cell particle foams with thermoplastic polyurethane through technical excellence. The first E-TPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) combines lightness and flexibility in a single product. BASF's Infinergy® technology guarantees:

Infinergy® returns energy
Die Traditional cushioning has been developed into soft, dynamic cushioning that returns positive energy. The energy generated when the foot strikes the ground is absorbed, directly rebounded, and thus supports walking. The efficient Infinergy® cushioning absorbs energy much better than a traditional sole, guaranteeing lightness, freedom of movement, anti-fatigue, and a reduction in muscle and joint disorders. A gel insert has been combined in the forefoot area for optimal cushioning and fit in the Red Lion.

Infinergy® provides natural flexibility across the entire footbed—from heel to forefoot. Thanks to its structure, the lightweight, flexible outsole adapts to any surface while ensuring maximum stability. A combination of select upper materials and very supple fabrics such as breathable textile fibers and natural leather cradle the feet in absolute comfort. 

Airtoe 

AirToe is the innovative toe cap that lets the foot breathe and protects the toes from bruises and impacts. AirToe meets the most stringent safety standards and ensures the safety of employees. The choice of material from which the toe cap is made is crucial. The AirToe safety toe cap is available in three different material variants to meet different application requirements: aluminum (approx. 54 g), composite (approx. 50 g), and steel (approx. 93 g).

Save & Flex Plus 

The exclusive penetration-resistant metal-free insole is lighter than traditional steel, more flexible, and safer. It is connected directly to the upper and guarantees 100% penetration protection. U-POWER uses only the high-quality, puncture-resistant “Save & Flex” Plus insole for all its products, which has a pressure load far higher than required by the current standard.

Insoles

The insoles serve to increase the comfort of occupational and safety shoes and reduce fatigue. Their anatomical shape and high-quality materials provide additional cushioning, even pressure distribution, and relief.

U-POWER ORIGINAL 

U-POWER has managed to reduce the weight of the U-POWER Original insole while maintaining its comfort and foot health properties. The new polyurethane compound ensures long-lasting well-being, lightness, and comfort thanks to its excellent anatomical, antibacterial, and self-modeling properties.



WOW2 

The WOW2 insole consists of two elements: firstly, an anatomically shaped structure made of Elastopan with good viscoelastic properties, which distributes body weight evenly across the foot. Secondly, an insert made of an Elastopan blend with anti-fatigue properties, which is able to absorb and reduce physical stress (such as prolonged standing).

The result is immediate comfort when wearing the shoe and reduced fatigue.
