The American radio electrician Carl E. Weller developed a pioneering soldering technology with instant heating based on transformers - the beginning of a success story that continues to this day. International expansion began with the founding of Weller Elektro-Werkzeuge GmbH in Besigheim, and Weller Germany developed into the global market leader for hand soldering technology.
