Polyurethane resin hardener for potting compound ER2074K10K.A

The product ER2074K10K.A from Electrolube is a high-quality, two-component epoxy resin system specifically developed for encapsulation applications. It offers excellent flame retardancy according to UL94-V0 and is free from halogenated compounds, leading to minimal smoke production in case of fire. The formulation contains only mildly abrasive fillers, which reduces wear on mixing and dispensing equipment. With a specific thermal conductivity of 1.26 W/m*K, this material is excellent for heat dissipation in various applications, including LED technologies, both indoors and outdoors.
After curing, the resin presents itself in an aesthetic white and is characterized by good chemical and water resistance. The product remains stable under mechanical stress and adheres well to various substrates. It is RoHS compliant and offers a shelf life of 18 months with proper storage. Note that the casting compound and the hardener should always be ordered in equal quantities to achieve optimal results.

Epoxy potting compounds are special synthetic resins that are produced on an epoxy resin basis and are used for potting and sealing components. They usually consist of two components: an epoxy resin and a hardener, which are mixed together to start a chemical reaction that results in a solid, durable compound. They are resistant to mechanical stress and resistant to many chemical products (e.g. solvents). Epoxy resins have good insulating properties and remain stable even at high temperatures. They also have good adhesive properties.
