THe EPAglove® COPPER textile gloves are designed for use in electrostatically protected areas (EPA) in accordance with IEC 61340-5-1. They are used to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and at the same time provide basic mechanical protection for the wearer. The textile fabric used contains integrated copper fibers that enable controlled dissipation of electrostatic charges from the body and thus contribute to compliance with ESD protection requirements.
The series comprises the following variants, which differ in terms of the finish of the glove surfaces:
The different versions enable an application-specific selection according to the respective requirements for tactility, grip safety and mechanical resilience. The gloves therefore support the standard-compliant handling of electrostatically sensitive components in various work processes in electronics production.
