The ESD safety shoe TAIFUN XXSW Boa® Black by Elten is a high-quality low shoe, specifically developed for use in areas where electrostatic discharge poses a risk. This shoe is available in black and covers a wide range of sizes from 36 to 48. The upper material is made of durable microfiber, while the textile lining makes the shoe particularly comfortable.
The rubber sole combined with a midsole made of EVA and eTPU offers both flexibility and stability. The innovative Boa® closure allows for quick and precise fit adjustment. Additional protection is provided by the puncture-resistant, metal-free guard and the carbon toe protection. The insole is replaceable and meets the standards of DGUV 112-191 for orthopedic insoles. With its Class S3S certification and slip resistance SR, this unisex safety shoe is an ideal choice for demanding work environments.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3S
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure), a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
BASF Infinergy®
Elastic like rubber, but resiliently light. The world's first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU). Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams. Infinergy® has a low density, is extremely elastic and abrasion-resistant and has very good resilience. Infinergy® also has a permanent load-bearing capacity in a wide temperature range (-20 to over +40°C).
BOA® Fit System
The BOA® Fit System consists of three essential components: a finely adjustable twist lock, a lightweight yet extremely strong rope and low-friction rope guides. All BOA® Fit systems enable a precise fit quickly and effortlessly and come with the BOA® guarantee.

Safety shoe WELLMAXX Skywalk XXSW

The WELLMAXX SKYWALK models combine state-of-the-art cushioning technology, high wearing comfort, reliable protective functions, and a strong focus on sustainability. At the heart of all models is the innovative sole construction made of RUBBER/eTPU/SCF, which combines an open Infinergy® module from BASF in the heel area with a responsive Supercritical Foam. This construction creates a particularly dynamic performance: the heel is effectively cushioned with every step, energy is returned directly and noticeably, and muscles, joints, and the lower back are significantly relieved—ideal for long working days on hard surfaces.

 

Optimal protection is provided by an extremely lightweight carbon toe cap and metal-free penetration protection, which protect against hazards from above and below without adding unnecessary weight to the shoe. The robust rubber outsole offers excellent slip resistance (SR-certified) and ensures stability on a wide variety of surfaces.
