The ESD safety shoe RED STRATOS Umber by U-Power combines high functionality with modern design and is ideal for use in industry, logistics, assembly, and other technical areas. This model is designed as a low shoe and available in black. The size options range from 35 to 48, catering to a wide range of users.The suede upper with mesh inserts ensures excellent breathability and a dynamic fit. An innovative NanoFiber toe cap and a metal-free, puncture-resistant midsole provide comprehensive protection, while the WingTex lining adds extra comfort. The outsole made of HRO rubber with Supercritical Technology not only promises stability and slip resistance (SR), but also excellent energy return.
The shoe features the Boa® closure system for quick and precise adjustment and is also compatible with orthopedic insoles according to ÖNORM Z 1259, which further increases wearing comfort. Suitable for men and women, the shoe meets the requirements of the protective class S1PS HI HRO FO SR ESD, making it an excellent choice for safety and comfort at work.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3S
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure), a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
