CORSTAT Tray COR-20.CTR.el

The CORSTAT Tray COR-20.CTR.el, manufactured by Kolb, is a highly functional solution for the secure storage and transport of sensitive electronic components. These trays are made from corrugated cardboard, which is coated with an electrostatically conductive material both inside and out. Additionally, the outer surface is equipped with a water-repellent and scratch-resistant coating, providing extended lifespan and improved durability.
The product features a black, conductive foam insert made of PE foam, which has a thickness of 1.5 mm (with a tolerance of +/- 0.5 mm). This insert helps reduce electrostatic charges, thus protecting the integrity of your electronic components.
The dimensions of the tray are precisely designed with an external length of 550 mm, a width of 346 mm, and a height of 31 mm. Internally, the tray offers a length of 499 mm, a width of 330 mm, and a height of 28 mm, making it compatible with standard Euro containers of sizes 400 x 300 mm and 600 x 400 mm, as well as Customer-Store containers.
The surface resistances range between 10^5 and 10^6 Ω, and the tray is fully recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly option.

CORSTAT Tray

CORSTAT trays made of corrugated cardboard fit into standardized Euro containers and customer store containers, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. They have the following common properties:

  • black
  • electrostatically conductive coated and sealed inside and outside
  • Surface resistance inner/outer cover: RS = 105 - 106 Ω
  • electrostatic shielding <10 nJ (EnergyTest)
  • Exterior with water-repellent and scratch-resistant coating
  • stackable; with stacking nose reinforcement
  • recyclable
  • in compliance with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-3 and ANSI/ESD S541

The trays in this product family are available in different versions: without foam, with conductive/conductive foam inlay or extra sturdy. The respective version can be identified by the article number:

  • CTR = without foam
  • CTR.as  = with foam inlay dissipative, pink (thickness 2 mm, tolerance +/- 0.5 mm)   
  • CTR.el  = with foam inlay conductive, black (thickness 1.5 mm, tolerance +/- 0.5 mm)
  • CRT-EE = without foam inlay, very stable version, high shielding
