HIGHSHIELD air bubble bags 250 x 300 mm
The HIGHSHIELD bubble mailers with dimensions 250 x 300 mm and an additional 50 mm flap offer an optimal solution for the protection of sensitive products through their three-layer film structure. The outer layer consists of smooth HIGHSHIELD film, which has a surface resistance of 10^9 to 10^10 Ohms. The inside is lined with PERMASTAT® film, which also provides a surface resistance in the same range.
These bags are specifically designed for applications that require electrostatic shielding, with a protection performance of less than 5 nJ according to the Energy Test for ESD. They comply with the standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and are not only conductive but also recyclable, making them an environmentally friendly option.
Despite their robust construction, the bags are neither sealable nor resealable, which should be considered when selecting. Their material mix of Highshield and Permastat, combined with the metallized surface, ensures that the products remain safe and protected.
Note on ESD measurement:
To obtain a reliable measurement result, the resistance measurement should be performed without trapped air. Without cushioning, the necessary contact area of the electrodes on the material is provided, which delivers a precise measurement result. Measurements with air gaps can lead to deviating values.
