Air bubble film two-layered 300 mm x 100 m
The two-layer bubble wrap from EPApack offers an effective protection solution for sensitive products. With a width of 300 mm and a roll length of 100 m, it meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, making it ideal for use in ESD-sensitive environments. This pink film is made from recyclable polyethylene, contains 5% recycled material, and is amine-free. The film is also printed with the recycling symbol LDPE 4 and has a thickness of 0.08 mm. The bubbles of the film have a diameter of 10 mm and a height of 4 mm, which ensures additional protection. It is dissipative and conductive with a surface resistance between 10^10 and 10^11 Ohm and a maximum discharge time of 2 seconds. The durability is 3 years with proper storage, protected from UV radiation and at an ambient temperature of 10 to 25 °C and a humidity over 20%. The inside of the film is smooth and it is also sealable, offering versatile application possibilities.
Note on ESD measurement:
To obtain a reliable measurement result, the resistance measurement should be conducted without trapped air. Without cushioning, the necessary contact area of the electrodes on the material is provided, which delivers a precise measurement result. Measurements with air gaps can lead to deviating values.
