3M™ Shielding and adhesive tapes

The 3M™ shielding tapes and adhesive tapes support controlled production processes in electrostatically sensitive and thermally demanding applications in the electronics industry.

The 3M™ polyimide film 5413 serves as a high-temperature resistant masking tape for wave soldering and reliably protects PCB contact surfaces from thermal and mechanical stress.

The 3M™ antistatic adhesive tape type 40 combines an antistatic adhesive with a transparent, thin backing and is suitable for the secure sealing of ESD protective packaging. The antistatic version with ESD marking contributes to compliance with protective measures in accordance with IEC 61340-5-1 and supports process safety when handling sensitive components.
