Table-top ionizing equipment

Tabletop ionizers are compact ionization systems for the active neutralization of electrostatic charges in localized work areas. They are typically used on workbenches in electrostatically protected areas (EPA), especially where earthing via conductive materials alone is not sufficient - for example when handling non-conductive materials or insulating packaging.

By generating symmetrical ion currents, they help to eliminate charge imbalances on surfaces and thus minimize the risk of uncontrolled electrostatic discharges (ESD) to sensitive electronic components.

For effective ESD control, it is advisable to regularly check the ionization power and ion balance in accordance with the specifications of IEC 61340-5-1.
