EPApro® Personnel Tester 1000 wall-mounted device

The EPApro® ESD-Personnel-Tester 1000 wall unit, developed by DPV and marketed under the brand EPApro, is a state-of-the-art solution for verifying personnel grounding in ESD-protected work areas. This device complies with the standards DIN EN ISO 61340-5-1 and ANSI ESD S20.20 and is GDPR compliant. The compact wall unit, measuring 265 mm x 180 mm x 100 mm and weighing 1 kg, offers a quick test time of less than 2 seconds. It features a 7-inch HD touch color display for intuitive operation and an integrated multi-RFID reader that is compatible with all common standards. The measurement results can be displayed directly on the device or retrieved over the network. For increased security, a Privacy Mode allows the display of measurements without personal data. The test voltage of the device is adjustable between 30 and 100 V, and it supports a power consumption of 6 W with a power supply of 100 - 230 V/AC. The operating temperature ranges from 10 to 40 °C with a relative humidity of up to 75%. For easy integration into existing systems, the device offers LAN connections and optional WLAN functionality via a USB adapter. Additionally, the EPApro® ESD-Personnel-Tester 1000 can be networked with the optionally available EPApro® Control Server Software to enable centralized management and archiving of measurement data. The recommended calibration interval is 24 months. Included in the delivery are a shoe electrode, a power supply, an instruction manual, and a factory calibration certificate.

EPApro® – Networked ESD personnel grounding control system

EPApro® Personnel Tester 1000

The EPApro® 1000 is a compact measuring device to verify the personnel grounding and fulfills the requirements of DIN EN ISO 61340-5-1, ANSI ESD S20.20 and GDPR (general data protection regulation). Programmable switch outputs allow using it as access control. A privacy mode offers the possibility to log and display the measurement without names. The measurements are logged and stored in the EPApro® 1000 device conforming to standards and the GDPR. It is possible to retrieve measured data via network or maintain them locally on the device by means of the stand-alone function.

The EPApro® devices are available as table-top unit or as wall-mounted devices with standard RFID reader or with modified RFID reader for reading HID Prox format.

Recommandation: Interconnection with EPApro® Control Server

The EPApro® 1000 device can be connected as a single device (Stand Alone) or via the company network with the optionally available EPApro® Control Server software, even across locations. The EPApro® Control Server offers the advantage of being able to manage the EPApro® 1000 devices centrally and to store all data in a central database.

Additional features when using the EPApro® Control Server:
