Flat-nose pliers 3512115 ESD

The KNIPEX 3512115 ESD flat nose pliers combine a robust, load-optimized construction with high precision and safety for electrostatically sensitive tasks. The pliers feature a riveted, backlash-free precision joint and a carefully rounded head that has no sharp edges to prevent damage to materials. The electrically discharging handles are dissipative and contribute to safety in electrostatic work.
A distinctive feature is the slim, elongated sleeves pulled up to the head of the pliers, allowing for fine and comfortable gripping. The smoothly ground gripping surfaces of the flat and wide jaws prevent damage to the workpiece. The low-friction double spring supports a smooth and uniform opening of the pliers.
The mirror-polished surface combined with a fine oil film offers not only good rust protection but also protection against circuit disturbances caused by flaking chrome parts. With an overall length of 115 mm and a head width of 11 mm, the 3512115 ESD flat nose pliers are ideal for precise work in electronics and precision mechanics.

Compact and good: 115 mm length for plenty of freedom even in tight spaces

When working on electronic devices and circuit boards as well as precision mechanical constructions such as measuring devices and delicate apparatus, space is at a premium: ideal conditions for the electronics gripping pliers from Knipex. They are ideal for working in areas that are difficult to access.

With their slim head and short length, these precision gripping pliers from Knipex are the ideal tool for sensitive gripping, holding and bending of delicate components and workpieces. The gripping surfaces are ground smooth to protect sensitive surfaces.

Smooth-running and precise, with box joint and double spring

The smaller and more sensitive the components, the more precisely a pair of pliers must work. A well-dosed transmission of manual force is crucial. This is made possible by the very finely tuned pliers from Knipex with perfect mechanics. The solid, box joint is smooth-running, as the inner shank of the pliers is guided on both sides by the outer shank. Result: precise movement without tipping.

ESD protection against uncontrolled electrostatic discharge; safety rust protection

The pliers shanks of the Knipex ESD electronics gripping pliers are forged from special tool steel, oil-hardened, carefully deburred, mirror-polished and completed with an opening spring and rivet to form the gripping pliers. The rust protection of the pliers is harmless for circuits because there is no chrome plating. The pliers are well protected against corrosion thanks to mirror polishing and a fine film of oil.
