Self-adjusting crimping pliers with square crimping

The self-adjusting crimping tool from Knipex, model 97 53 04, allows for precise and standard-compliant crimping of wire end ferrules according to DIN 46228 parts 1 + 4 and is UL-approved in combination with Knipex wire end ferrules 97 99 330 - 399. This tool is ideal for wire end ferrules from 0.08 mm² to 16.0 mm² and automates the adjustment to the desired size, which virtually eliminates crimping errors and enables fast operation.
The tool is made from chrome vanadium electric steel, oil-hardened, and offers smooth, fatigue-free operation due to its ergonomic design and short handle span. With a length of 180 mm, a width of 77 mm, and a weight of 459 g, it is handy and robust. The toggle lever mechanism supports force amplification, allowing for effortless processing of larger cross-sections up to 16 mm².
The tool features a releasable forced lock that ensures consistently high crimp quality, as the crimp pressure is precisely set at the factory. This model is also suitable for twin wire end ferrules up to 2 x 6 mm² or 2 x AWG 10 and reliably connects wires using a square profile.
