Epoxy potting compound ER2188 4.5 kg

The Electrolube ER2188 epoxy encapsulation compound is a high-quality, two-component compound based on an epoxy formula suitable for a wide range of applications. This product is distinguished by its flame retardancy and excellent electrical properties, making it a cost-effective solution for encapsulating and sealing components.
The compound offers excellent resistance to chemicals and water, as well as superb adhesion to various substrates. The hardener component is free from DDM or other aromatic amines, thereby minimizing the release of toxic gases and smoke during application.
The ER2188 is available in black and is supplied in 5 kg containers, with a shelf life of up to two years when stored properly. Note that the hardener must be ordered separately and should always be ordered in the same quantity as the encapsulation compound.
Certified according to UL94 V-0 and compliant with RoHS, this encapsulation compound provides a reliable solution for your technical requirements.

Epoxy potting compound

Epoxy potting compounds are special synthetic resins that are produced on an epoxy resin basis and are used for potting and sealing components. They usually consist of two components: an epoxy resin and a hardener, which are mixed together to start a chemical reaction that results in a solid, durable compound. They are resistant to mechanical stress and resistant to many chemical products (e.g. solvents). Epoxy resins have good insulating properties and remain stable even at high temperatures. They also have good adhesive properties.
