The Basic Black ESD safety sandal from ABEBA combines advanced protective features with high comfort for professional use. This unisex sandal is made from high-quality microfiber and features a breathable technical fabric lining, making it particularly suitable for long wearing periods. The sandal is available in sizes 36 to 47 and exclusively in black.The safety shoes meet the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011; S1P, SRC, and offer comprehensive protection with a metal-free, puncture-resistant sole and a composite toe cap. The PU/PU outsole is oil-, acid-, and petrol-resistant and provides excellent slip-resistant properties (SRC). Additionally, the sandals are antistatic and meet ESD requirements, making them ideal for areas where electrostatic discharges may pose a risk.
The practical Velcro fastener allows for quick putting on and taking off, and washability at 30 °C ensures easy care. Weighing approximately 540 g in size 42, these safety sandals offer both protection and comfort throughout the day.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Washability
The shoe can be machine washed (at 30°C or 60°C depending on the model).
