The Basic Black ESD safety shoes from ABEBA, available in sizes 36 to 47, are specifically designed for professional use where both safety and comfort are required. These unisex low shoes are made of high-quality microfiber and a breathable technical fabric, making them ideal for long wearing periods.The shoes meet the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345:2011; S1P, SRC, ensuring comprehensive protection through a metal-free, puncture-resistant sole and a composite toe cap. The PU/PU outsole is oil, acid, and petrol resistant and also offers excellent slip-resistant properties. The washability at 30 °C significantly facilitates maintenance.
Additionally, the shoes are antistatic and meet the ESD requirements, making them ideal for areas where electrostatic discharges could pose a risk. With a weight of 490 g at size 42, these shoes provide optimal protection and comfort throughout the day.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1P
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Overcap
The toe cap is usually made of plastic material (e.g. PU or TPU) and is firmly attached to the shoe. It protects the front area of a work shoe from premature wear and thus extends the service life of the safety shoe.
Washability
The shoe can be machine washed (at 30°C or 60°C depending on the model).
