The ESD safety shoe Industrial, Herby by BAAK, specially designed for industrial use, offers a combination of safety and comfort. This low shoe is made of high-quality microfiber with a mesh textile insert, making it particularly breathable and lightweight. The aluminum flex cap and the slip-resistant PU/PU sole meet the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S1 SRC, ensuring maximum safety and meeting the requirements for ESD-protected areas.Weighing only 515 g in size 42 and available in sizes 36 to 47, the shoe offers natural foot movement through the Baak® go&relax system. The Baak ESD Softstep insole is replaceable and can be orthopedically adjusted according to the standards DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. This provides additional comfort, especially during long wearing times.
Additional features such as antibacterial properties, padded tongue, reflective applications, and shock absorption increase wearing comfort and safety. The shoe is available in black and blue colors and offers a standard width of 11 as well as quick and easy handling through the quick release system. ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S1
Shoes with a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Aluminum toe cap
Aluminum toe caps are approx. 40 % lighter than steel caps, but do not rust. They have very high stability and durability and are recyclable.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Vegan
The shoe is leather-free and free from other animal products. No animal materials or auxiliary materials with components of animal origin are used in production either.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
