The professional shoe Marais Black-Red ESD from Elten combines functionality with a sporty design and is ideal for use in ESD-protected areas. The mesh upper ensures high breathability, while the padded tongue and breathable textile lining provide additional comfort. The full-surface ESD insole is replaceable, making the shoe particularly maintenance-friendly.The robust outsole made of rubber, TPU, and EVA, known as TRANSFOAMERS, not only offers excellent slip resistance (SRC) but is also oil and chemical resistant as well as antistatic. These properties meet the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20347 O1. The shoe is available in sizes 36 to 48 and is designed for a unisex audience. The weight per shoe in size 42 is only 349 g, which underscores its suitability for long wearing times.
Additional options such as orthopedic insoles according to DGUV 112-191 and a lace-up closure complete the profile of this half shoe. The Marais Black-Red ESD does not include toe protection, but it meets additional requirements such as HRO and FO to cover a wide range of work environments.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Work shoe class O1
Shoes without a protective toe cap. They are slip-resistant, antistatic and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a closed heel area.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
This regulation stipulates that orthopaedic insoles may only be used in safety footwear in conjunction with a valid type examination. This is to ensure that specified and tested properties (e.g. antistatic properties) are maintained.
