ESD safety boot Gemini Line Uranus

The ESD safety boots Uranus in Black/Orange from the Gemini Line by FTG are specifically designed for use in demanding work environments. These boots feature a metal-free puncture-resistant midsole and a composite toe cap that meet the highest safety standards of DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 (S3, SRC) norms. The upper material made of Safety-Nubuck leather combined with HIGH TEX lining not only provides comfort but also increased durability.
The shoes are available in sizes 34 to 50 and support both orthopedic and standard insoles according to DGUV 112-191. The replaceable Atomic insoles and the polyester lining ensure additional comfort. The PU/TPU outsole guarantees resistance to oil, acid, and gasoline, as well as excellent slip resistance. The lace-up closure ensures an optimal fit. These unisex safety boots are antistatic and are excellently suited for use in electronically sensitive work areas.

Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.

Safety shoe Mercury / Uranus Gemini Line

The Mercury safety shoes and Uranus safety boots from FTG's Gemini Line combine high safety standards with comfort and design. These low shoes are made from high-quality safety nubuck leather and feature a High Tex membrane that ensures breathability and durability.
The safety features include a metal-free penetration protection midsole and a robust composite toe cap. The slip-resistant PU/TPU outsole offers excellent traction and is resistant to oil, acid and petrol. The models comply with the EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC and DIN EN 61340-5-1 standards, making them suitable for various working environments. They can also be configured for orthopaedic insoles in accordance with DGUV 112-191 and have a replaceable Atomic insole. The lace fastening ensures an individual fit and the polyester lining provides additional comfort.
