The ESD safety shoe FLEX 1065 from Jalas, a highlight of the Flex series, is specifically designed for use in versatile work environments such as warehouses, logistics, and assembly. This low-cut shoe is characterized by its metal-free construction, which not only reduces weight but also increases wearing comfort without compromising safety. The lightweight composite toe cap and the soft textile-based puncture-resistant insole provide reliable protection against thin, fine nails.The BOA® Fit System allows for quick, individual adjustment, while the durable, 20% bio-based microfiber upper material, enhanced by water-repellent and PFAS-free coatings, ensures breathability and environmental conservation. The dual-density PU outsole guarantees durability and excellent slip resistance according to SR standard. For added comfort, the excellent shock absorption is provided by Poron® XRD®.
Available in sizes 34-48 and in an attractive black-red color scheme, the shoe offers a replaceable insole (type FX2 Pro-X), which also meets orthopedic requirements according to DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. Thus, the FLEX 1065 is an ideal choice for demanding, active workdays.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3S
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant textile insole (tested with a 3 mm test nail with at least 1100 N pressure), a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SR
The shoe is slip-resistant on ceramic tile floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Metal-free
The shoe is completely metal-free. It is made of textile material and plastic elements (protective toe cap, eyelets, etc.).
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
BOA® Fit System
The BOA® Fit System consists of three essential components: a finely adjustable twist lock, a lightweight yet extremely strong rope and low-friction rope guides. All BOA® Fit systems enable a precise fit quickly and effortlessly and come with the BOA® guarantee.
Quick release fastener
This fastening mechanism allows the shoes to be quickly and easily opened and closed by turning the knob. The advantage of this technology is the very fast and precise adjustment of the shoe, ensuring a secure fit on the foot.
Stabilizer
Extra rigid construction with stabilizer in the arch area that reduces the risk of sprains. Available on shoes with RPU, nitrile and TPU in the outsole.
