The PRIMA black safety shoe from Jalas is a high-quality safety shoe available in sizes 36 to 47. This model is characterized by its metal-free construction and the use of full-grain leather in the upper. The shoes are equipped with a plastic toe cap and an oil-resistant sole, making them ideal for demanding work environments.The shoes are part of the Green Line series and offer dual shock absorption with Poron® XRD® as well as a breathable Ergothan lining. The FX2 Pro insole is replaceable and meets the orthopedic standards DGUV 112-191 and ÖNORM Z 1259. Weighing 640 g in size 42 and with a standard width ranging from narrow to normal, these shoes provide comfort and safety. They meet the standards DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC, highlighting their suitability for ESD-protected areas. The lace-up closure ensures a custom fit, and the SRC slip resistance provides additional safety on slippery surfaces.

ESD approved
Shoes have been tested in accordance with the specifications of DIN EN 61340. They generally have a volume resistance of 7.5 x 105 to 3.5 x 107 ohms.
Safety class S3
Shoes with a protective toe cap made of aluminum, plastic or steel. They are slip-resistant, antistatic, waterproof and have energy absorption capacity in the heel area. They also have a puncture-resistant steel midsole, a profiled outsole and a closed heel area. A fuel-resistant sole is also possible.
Metal-free toe cap
Metal-free toe caps are plastic/composite toe caps made of fiber-reinforced plastic. They are lighter than steel or aluminum caps and are not thermally conductive.
Slip resistance SRC
The shoe is slip-resistant both on ceramic tiles with NaLS (sodium sulphate solution) and on steel floors with glycerine.
Penetration protection/midsole metal-free
The penetration protection protects the foot from nails and other sharp objects. Metal-free penetration protection made of textile fabric is lighter and more flexible and covers the entire surface of the foot. However, very sharp objects can penetrate it.
Exchangeable insole
The insole is not firmly integrated into the shoe, but only inserted loosely. It can therefore be easily replaced if necessary.
DGUV 112-191
The DGUV Rule 112-191 defines how foot and knee protection must be properly used – particularly with regard to orthopedic insoles in safety shoes. Only safety shoes that are certified according to this rule may be fitted with custom insoles without impairing their protective function. This ensures that the safety features of the footwear remain fully intact.
Ergothan
Ergothan, an efficient shock absorption system, makes the shoes very ergonomic and prevents injuries to the feet. A plastic clasp under the insole makes the shoes stable and provides support for long working days.
