Shielding bag SCS, type PCL100 "metal-in" 255 x 305 mm

The SCS shielding bags, type PCL100 "metal-in" with dimensions of 255 x 305 mm, provide effective protection for electronic components against electrostatic discharges (ESD). These bags are made from a combination of polyester and polyethylene, feature aluminum vapor deposition for metallization, and an antistatic outer coating. The surface resistance is between 10^4 and 10^11 Ω, ensuring high shielding against static charges.
The transparent, multilayer bags are free of amines, silicone, and heavy metals, making them ideal for use in cleanrooms. They meet the standards ANSI/ESD S20.20, ANSI/ESD S541, and ANSI/ESD S11.4 Level 3, as well as IEST-STD-CC1246E Level 100. The bags are sealable and have a side seal seam and a standard print that includes the ESD warning symbol, the type designation, RoHS compliance, and the LOT number.
Produced by SCS, these bags are available in packaging units of 100 pieces and provide a reliable solution for the safe storage and transport of sensitive components in ESD-sensitive environments.

ESD Shielding bag PCL-100

The dissipative metallized shielding bags PCL-100 protect electronic parts and components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and prevent static charge on the bag, which could damage ESD-sensitive parts and assemblies, and also meet the requirements for surface particles in cleanroom applications.

The shielding bags differ in size within this product family.

They have the following common properties:

  • Outer layer - antistatic coating
    Surface resistance RS = 1011 Ohm
  • Metallization - aluminized
  • Inner layer - dissipative polyethylene
    Surface resistance RS = 104 - 1011 Ohm
